The cylinder liner is phosphatized to exclude freeze-ins in the tribological situation "ring-cylinder liner" in the burn-in stage and under extreme conditions. With the freeze-ins being formed the engine may lose more then half if its life-time during first 50–60 hours of burn-in, which is extremely important for augmented engines.

Our cylinder liners are phosphatized using our own technology process to agree with GOST 9.0305-84 requirements.
